» World's biggest disco stars in Zagreb on 4 January
On 4 January, the day before the Sljeme slalom race, the Zagreb Bana Josipa Jelaia Square will turn into the biggest dance podium in Europe – at exactly 8 PM the world’s biggest disco music stars will perform in a free-of-charge concert.
» "Snow Queen's" crown arrived in Zagreb
Crystal crown, which will be the first prize for the skier who will win the "Snow Queen" title, arrived in Zagreb few hours ago.

» Fantastic 3rd place for Janica Kostelic at Sljeme
Janica Kostelic achieved one of her most extraordinary performances this evening in finishing 3rd in the demanding slalom race organized on the slopes of Sljeme outside of Zagreb. The triple Olympic Champion, who clocked the 7th time in the first run, captured her fourth consecutive podium in slalom despite losing her right pole just after starting her second run.
» Second season win for Marlies Schild
Less than a week after dominating the slalom at Lienz, the Austrian team was again the strongest in Sljeme above Zagreb where Marlies Schild became the "Snow Queen" in crushing her rivals in both runs. In front of a huge crowd of over twenty thousand enthusiastic spectators, Schild beat by 44/100 of a second her team-mate Kathrin Zettel while Janica Kostelic conquered an amazing 3rd place after losing her right pole at the beginning of her second run.

Winner of "Snow Queen Trophy" Marlies Schild is overwhelmed by today's race. With this flattering title Marlies also won a crystal crown and 60.000 euros.

24 hours after celebrating her first World Cup downhill win, Janica Kostelic enjoyed one of her greatest moment in winning her first ever Super-G in.Bad Kleinkirchheim where she finished ahead of two of the min favourites, Michaela Dorfmeister and Alexandra Meissnitzer.

First official downhill practice scheduled for today in St. Moritz has been cancelled due to harsh wind in the upper part of the slope.

Janica is satisfied with the practice session today. She says she had everything under control, but she needs to take shorter path in the race. She considers this practice only as an introduction for the competitions this weekend in St. Moritz.

On today's Super-G race Janica Kosteli finished at 15th place, with 1.20 seconds behind the winner Michaela Dorfmeister.

After her double triumph in Bad Kleinkirchheim, Janica Kostelic had to be content with a far 15th place in the next Super-G at St Moritz won by Austria’s Michaela Dorfmeister. Many skiers including Sweden’s Anja Paerson had a hard time on this course and skied out.

Janica Kostelic finished third in today's downhill event in St. Moritz (SUI) despite the fact she started with bib number 28. The winner was Austrian Michaela Dorfmeister.
» Another podium for Janica Kostelic
After finishing 15th in Friday’s Super-G, Janica Kostelic fought back in the downhill which she ended at the solid 3rd place behind Michaela Dorfmeister and Renate Goetschl. She only lost 19/100 of a second on the winner! It’s her fourth podium in downhill on the World Cup tour. Anja Paerson came in 7th allowing Dorfmeister to reinforce her 2nd place in the Overall World Cup standings with a delay on 128 points on Janica.

After a slow first run in which she lost over a second on the other favourites because of a incident, Janica Kostelic achieved a strong second run in which she clocked the best time. It helped her to move up at a more satisfying 7th place in the final standings in which she finished just behind Anja Paesron.
