» Janica back on skis After her injury Janica Kostelic returns to ski trainings and practices on snow. She is on Hintertux since Saturday, but has only started with practices on snow today, according to the instructions from her medical and technical staff.
» Zagreb scheduled for the men's World Cup slalom event! Organisers of the second ladies' World Cup night slalom set for January 5th have received great news. Zagreb has been entered in the 2007/08 men's slalom schedule, meaning all the male ski stars will test slopes on Sljeme in the beginning of February 2008.

» Janica, Nika and Ana compete in Soelden After the qualifying training run day before yesterday it has been decided the girls representing Croatia in giant slalom event in Soelden next weekend will be Janica Kostelic, Nika Fleiss and Ana Jelusic. MAtea Ferk will continue practicing.

» Janica 2nd, Nika 15th!!! Janica's great comeback Janica Kostelic surprized herself today in Soelden in reaching her first podium of the season on the demanding Rettenbacher glacier. The triple Olympic champion came in 2nd behind Slovenia’s Tina Maze and ahead of last year’s winner Anja Paerson. In the first run, she clocked the 5th best time but the fastest on in the afternoon, half a second ahead of Maze who beat her by only 34/100 of a second. Last year, Janica was 8th in her first race after a 19-month-long break.
