» Janica gets another award Janica Kostelic will have to find extra space in her room for another golden cup. Rijeka's newspaper «Novi list» awarded her for the best Croatian spotswoman in the year 2002 with Ivica Jobo Kurtini award.

» The season ended with a fancy dinner party The Croatian Ski Federation had closed the curtains of another season. The entire ski family and many guests gathered in the National library for a fancy dinner party. Janica and Ivica Kostelic were, like for the past 7 months, stars of the evening, but the party was also for those who achieved something in this season. From demo-teams, snowboarders, biathlons, Nordic skiers to the Alpine team and from the little Simpa team to the A-team. Everyone climbed up to the stage and enjoyed the moments of glory.
