Ivica and Janica together again
The Kostelic's are together again. After his Asian tour, Ivica has joined his sister Janica in the hunt for the new World Cup points. Ivica's timing could've been better – in the World Cup finals, he is 34 points behind Palander and he will need all the help he can get, especially from his family.

The Kostelic family got together again on Sunday evening in Lillehammer. While Janica got here from Sweden's Are, where she was 6th in the giant slalom and 1st in slalom, Ivica and his team traveled from Shiga Kogen to Tokyo, than to Frankfurt and than with the 3rd plain to Oslo, where they had to take the car to Lillehammer. All of them arrived a little bit earlier so that they can get used to Norway.

«We had a little trouble with the accommodation but we've worked it out. They didn't have training on Monday but they'll have slalom and giant slalom trainings on Tuesday in Hafjell» said the team director, Vedran Pavlek. They are all in a good mood and we hope they will stay in that way until the end of the week. That's when we'll know how many campaigns we will need: two (for Janica’s overall and slalom victory) or three (for Ivica's slalom Globe).

Two downhill races are scheduled for Wednesday on the 1st day of the competition but Janica and Ivica will not compete. Janica will race in the giant slalom race on Thursday, slalom race on Saturday and again the giant slalom on Sunday. Her greatest goal now is to finish among top three in the overall giant slalom standings although her fans are eagerly awaiting her record overall World Cup victory. She is now 595 points in advance on Anja Paerson. Ivica will definitely race in the Sunday slalom race and we will found out on Tuesday whether he'll race in the Saturday's giant slalom.
